Frequently asked questions
How are business days counted?
Every day in the range is checked. Weekend days and public holidays for the selected country (and optionally state or region) are skipped; the rest are business days. By default both the start and end dates are included, matching Excel’s NETWORKDAYS function.
Which countries and holidays are supported?
Public and bank holidays for 207 countries, including state and regional holidays where they differ, for five years back and five years ahead.
What about countries with a Friday–Saturday weekend?
Countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Israel default to their local weekend. You can change the weekend days for any calculation under “Weekend days and holiday options”.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser; only the public holiday list for the chosen country is downloaded.
