About BusinessDays.app

BusinessDays.app is a free tool for counting working days between dates and adding business days to a date, for207 countries and their states and regions. It also publishes free, auto-updating holiday calendar feeds.

Where the holiday data comes from

Holidays come from the open-source date-holidays project (data licensed CC BY 3.0), rebuilt weekly. Governments occasionally announce one-off holidays at short notice, so for legal deadlines or payroll, check the official source as well.

How counting works

Each day in the range is checked against the weekend days and the public holiday list. By default both start and end dates are included, matching Excel’s NETWORKDAYS. Adding business days does not count the start date, matching Excel’s WORKDAY.
